Its expertise in rare cancers and complex tumours is recognised internationally.

Gustave Roussy is the largest cancer centre in Europe:
- by the number of patients treated: almost 50,000 patients seen in consultation and/or hospitalization each year (including 3 500 in pediatrics) and 17 000 hospitalized patients
- by its unique integrated research model: 40 % of patients are included in clinical trials,
- by scientific production by its researchers: almost 453 publications in high impact journals (HI>10).
