Affiliated member of the Unicancer health cooperation group (GCS)

Founded in 1946, Sainte-Catherine is a private health establishment (Établissement de Santé Privé d’Intérêt Collectif – ESPIC) located in Avignon, specialised in the medical treatment of cancer patients, mainly through radiotherapy, medical oncology and supportive care.

Sainte-Catherine is ranked one of the highest-performing national cancer centres. Sainte-Catherine joined the Unicancer health cooperation group as affiliated centre in April 2021.

Sainte-Catherine is located on the border of 2 regions – Région Sud and Occitanie, and of 3 departments – Vaucluse, Bouche du Rhône and Gard. This geographic location confers it significant drawing power from neighbouring departments.

In 2019, a new 54-bed outpatient platform was created, one of the largest in France.

In May 2021, the “Ventoux” unit opened its doors with 22 additional beds, including 12 beds in palliative care and 8 in long-term stay.

It works extensively in the following areas:
